Extend the concept of the Malango 888 on a large and fast cruiser : this is the challenge that will face this new Malango 1088. Pierre ROLLAND works on a hull with strained water lines, with a light dispacement, a good load capacity to get unmatched performances in this dimension. Idbmarine will realize a composite sandwich construction (hull, deck, structuration), with 2 accomodations plans : 3 cabins and 2 cabins + technical area. The Malango 1088 will be a unique cruiser in this size.

Hull and deck in vacuum infusion method
White hull is sandwich construction (GRP + foam) with local areas moulded reinforcements to strenghten the structure.
White Deck is sandwich construction GRP + foam), with moulded non-slip finish.
2 lockers at the aft of the cockpit, 1 locker for the anchor.
2 lockers under the cockpit seats.
2 polyester rudders linked with one helm.
Overhang stemhead with anchor roller.
Garage à for the tender(4 persons) under the deck.
2 retractable legs for beaching (Option).
Fore Cabin accomodation :
Double berth with cushions and et équipets.
1 hatch (40 cm).

Large plexiglas on the roof and two hatches (over the kitchen and in the fore part of the roof).
Symetrical layout with two straight settees (2m x 0,52m) - folding wood table with storage.
Table chart on portside with space for instruments, 10 switches 12 V electrical panel protected with breakers.
Galley accomodation :
Galley on starboardside with work top, moulded wood fiddles and 2 grp sink
Two burners gaz hob, 40L top opening insulated GRP icebox, Stainless steel stove with igniter.
Fridge 40 liters.

130 l and 230 l moulded water tank for water.
Toilet accomodation :
Isolated toilet compartiment : GRP washbassin, marine toilet
locker for bathroom accessories - one opening hatch.
Aft Cabins accomodation :
2 Isolated cabin with 200*140 berth - one opening hatch.

Yanmard 3YM30 - 30cv tri-cylinders with Sail-drive transmission. Fuel tank capacity 60 l.
Engine compartment with foam soundproofing with 3 hatches for accessibility (each side and front)
Two 100 amp service and engine battery, 10 switches 12 V electrical panel protected with breakers (table chart)
3 LED ramps (1 fore cabin, 2 saloon, 5 LED spots (2 galley, 2 table chart), 5 LED lights (1 Galley, 1 table chart, 1 toilet, 2 aft cabin).

Rigging :
